Many customers require their Martek Conductivity Reference Cells’ cell constant (aka K-Factor) to be recertified annually in compliance with organizational SOP. To further assist our customers, we are providing details on the two types of recertification we provide:

1. Recertification of the Conductivity Reference Cell Only. This service provides a re-calculation of the Conductivity Reference Cell’s K-Factor. A Certificate of Compliance is provided. The cost for this service is $175 per Reference Cell.

2. Recertification of the Conductivity Reference Cell to include “As Found/As Left” Data. This service provides a re-calculation of the Conductivity Reference Cell’s K-Factor as well as calibration with a Martek Mark 22 supplied by the customer. A Certificate of Compliance is provided for the Reference Cell as well as an “As Found/As Left” Data Sheet which provides data from the Mark 22. The cost for this service is $300 per Reference Cell with a Mark 22.

We encourage all customers to fill out and send in the Return, Repair or Recertification Request Form (see below) to us prior to shipping back your equipment. This will allow us to better facilitate our work load and get your recertified reference cells back to you in a timely and efficient manner.
