Happy New Year & 50 Years of service!

Happy New Year! 2018 is a special year as it marks the 50th Anniversary of Martek Instruments, Inc. Since our inception in 1968, we've come a long way. From our initial offering of a salinity meter for the environmental field to our current offerings in the ultra pure water market, Martek has always been a paragon of innovation and quality. 

Our first 25 years were spent in Southern California while our second 25 years have been spent in Raleigh, North Carolina. Re-locating from one coast of America to the other was certainly a major change, but what has never changed is our dedication to solving people's problems as it relates to water analysis. 

In a world of company mergers and ever-larger conglomerates, it's rare for a small, family-owned business to survive, let alone thrive, for fifty years. We are grateful to all our employees, vendors and, of course, our customers for supporting us and making it a joy to work with some of the best people in the business.

So, we raise our glasses to a New Year filled with health, happiness, and success for everyone. And, to another fifty years of providing the best water quality analytical instrumentation and service on the planet. Cheers!
